Edgar Allan Poe, nació en Boston el 19 de enero de 1809, hace ahora 200 años, y murió en Baltimore, el 7 de octubre de 1849. He was the first well-known American writer to try to earn a living through writing alone, resulting in a financially difficult life and career.
Tales of Mystery and Imagination is a progressive rock album by The Alan Parsons Project, released in 1976. The album's avant-garde soundscapes kept it from being a blockbuster, but the interesting lyrical and musical themes — retellings of horror stories and poetry by Edgar Allan Poe — attracted a small audience. Critical reaction was often mixed. After a first launching the album was released, in the final months of 1976, under the definitive name of "Tales of Mystery and Imagination"
